Metamorphose


I created the animation within the installation Metamorphose, shown in Het Groote Museum in Amsterdam. 
The installation visualizes the circle of life. A taxydermied dead fox lays on a sulpture of a clod of soil. The fox is surrounded by drawings on paper of small animals and fauna. The animation shows how the death of the fox nourishes countless of other life. &#38;nbsp;

This is a short clip of a digital impression of the installation.&#38;nbsp;
The actual 3-dimensional installation is displayed at the museum.&#38;nbsp;

BeastsIn my late mother’s sketchbook I found some scribbles with a circular hatching technique that fascinated me. With those circles I recreated several of my childhood drawings of fantasy beasts. Creating creatures born out of two generations.


The original drawings are shown in an exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar from 25th of June until the 25th of September 2022.
